Recipe: Okonomiyaki, the famous Japanese pancake in a small version

100g of flour
1 egg
120g of boiled dashi
150g of cabbage
Ingredients of your choice: cheese, meat or else
Okonomiyaki sauce
Japanese mayonnaise
Bonito flakes (katsuobushi)
Seaweed flakes

For four people :

Step 1:
Mix the flour and the dashi stock in a bowl

Step 2:
Cut the cabbage into pieces

Step 3:
Put the sliced cabbage, the egg and the other ingredients in the bowl and mix until you have a nice smooth mixture

Step 4:
Pour the mixture in a pan. Once one side is cooked, turn the okonomiyaki and pour one spoon of water in the pan. Cover the pan and wait until it’s cooked.

Step 5:
Garnish your okonomiyaki with okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise then the katsuobushi (bonito flakes) and seaweed flakes on top.
