Recipe: Hiyashi Chuka, Japanese Cold Noodles with Sun Noodle

Ingredients
1 portion of Sun Noodle Tokyo Straight Noodles (204377)
1 packet of Sun Noodle Miso Ramen Base (200690)
½ chicken breast
3 tbsp sake, for steaming (203558)
1 egg
⅓ of a cucumber, thinly sliced
A few cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar (204363)
2 tsp Sesame Oil (140200)
Sesame seeds (200406)
Preparation

Step 1:
Season the chicken, add the sake, and steam it. Let it cool before shredding it.

Step 2:
 Make a thin omelet, then cut it into thin strips.

Step 3:
Mix the Sun Noodle Miso Ramen Base with a little water, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sesame seeds to create a light, well-balanced sauce.

Step 4:
Cook the Sun Noodle Tokyo-Style Straight Noodles, then immediately cool them in ice water. Drain them thoroughly to preserve their texture.

Step 5:
Arrange the noodles in a bowl, add the shredded chicken, omelet, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes, then generously drizzle with the sauce before serving.
